Stone house with scaffold and a freshly scratched render coat

Rendering and stonework

Granite house with a timber-clad side

A granite house with a timber-clad extension, wrapped in scaffold while granite is prepared and a new side wall is rendered.

The scaffold on this house wraps both the granite front and the timber-clad side. A work truck and plaster bags show the job being fed from the road.

On the granite front the stone is cleaned back, with a compressor and hose out on the patio. On the side of the house, render goes on in coats and the first coat is left scratched to take the next.

SR’s post does not describe the render system, so we have not specified one.

Photos of the wall, the room or the site, and your town, are all SR needs to start a conversation.
